My operating system is Vista 64-bit. LDS say that they have no viewer program suitable for XP, Vista or Windows 7 64-bit versions. They have no plan to make a 64-bit version. The only workaround is to install the Virtual PC program and install a 32-bit version of Windows. That sounds like a lot of work to me.
Surely at some stage the LDS will take their heads out of the sand and write a 64-bit version, as 64-bit operating systems are becoming much more commonly used to allow use of more than 3Gbytes of RAM.
All the best,

Re: Windows 7
Perhaps unfortunately, the LDS have decided to concentrate their resources on their new Internet sites and have abandoned the disk approach almost completely.AndrewP wrote:My operating system is Vista 64-bit. Installing a Virtual PC is relatively easy (as easy as installing any other program) and provided you can get hold of a full version of Windows which will allow the LDS Disks to run the whole thing can be done relatively quickly. Personally I have found this a better option than the "Cut Down" version of XP available to Windows 7 Premium users as it not only gives me variety (I have 3 Virtual PC's set up Windows 98 Windows XP and Linux) but gives greater flexibility with regard to installing programs and utilities.
