Should have pointed out that ANESFHS has a very similar sheet which they give members but I never have a blank one when I need it. Having it on EXCEL is handier.

A certificate check list is a great idea, as I am going through all mine (700 at the last count) to see what is missing. I have most of the information , just haven't put it onto Family Tree Maker yet.

Tish - Yeh I have some of those lying around somwhere.

I will probably make up an outline for a check list later on this week or next week.

Pandabean,

thanks for this, I have printed 4 copies and put each of my grandparents as the first name on one page. I can now put my rapidly growing papers into 4 folders and have this sheet as a ready reference at the front.
