saving 1881 census to hard disk

I'm not sure how different the AVRI is to the others, but I installed that on my hard drive without going anywhere near the registry (too scarry for me). It was ages ago - but I think I simply copied the cds onto the hard drive & then installed from there (it did take me a few hours to work it out & when I eventually did - I was amazed/annoyed at how simple it really was)

There are only 4 CDs in the AVRI but changing them for the few hours I did was very frustrating.
