Alysone

I dont use FH I use Legacy, the only time I had the need/inclination to start from scratch was when my hard drive fried itself and I didnt have a choice, unfortunately the ged file I had uploaded to a site was so out of date it was virtually empty  :D

As far as sources are concerned I now realise that when I recently started to assign sources to my lot I have made a hash of it. But! I still havent got the motivation to start all over again with them yet

All the best with your FH programme and searching.

One add on for FH which I would recommend is Gedcom census which is a free download available from the FH User Group

http://www.fhug.org.uk/cgi-bin/index.cg ... ews&id=111

and it makes the input of census information an absolute dawdle.

Right again! I either discover a sibling for great granny that I had missed the last time or I suddenly think as I did tonight "I wonder what happened to Helen McLachlan (sister of g g grand-dad)" and spent a happy but expensive hour finding out. For some odd reason I got a mental block about finding her death and it took me ages, which it should not have done. Now all her children are on my tree so it has grown somewhat to include McLeans from Campbeltown, any rellies out there??

That's what I love about TS - you find out you're not the only one out there.

Kind regards,
