Problem with size!

Hi Fiona

Well I think I've sorted it temporarily for now - by opting to open the files etc in imaging preview it comes up as a normal image with options at the top. In imaging it is still huge so will just leave it for now.

In the program you are using to view the image are there any little buttons with icons of magnifying glasses on them? If so, you might be able to alter how you are viewing the image. I'm guessing that now you might be able to see either the taskbar or the title bar - if you can tell us which program it is you are using we can maybe come up with more precise instructions!

It may well have been the camera software that "hijacked" the situation ......

Ah, Now, David. That there is a thought well worth the investigating.

I used to have the software installed that came with my camera but eventually removed it because it caused so many problems with my existing image software (although not this problem). Now I simply access either the camera's own files (rarely used these days) or plug the SD card into my card reader.

I wonder if Fiona's daughter has installed camera software?

Well Fiona, if it is anything like the software that came with my Samsung it is a pain in the nether regions! It did, as David suggested, hi-jack the imaging defaults and caused me no end of problems.

David, I know the t-shirt you mean - it's the one I ripped in frustration!

Wait till she gets home!
Will see if uninstalling it will make a difference. I'm amazed at the amount of bits is involved in downloading the software.
