Hello All
Have started recording the family history on Legacy (again) and this time round the round the wife has started on her family as well.what is the best way to go about this ? Do I start two different files or just use the one ?
Also how do I stop her appearing at my shoulder the exact moment I buy credits on SP ?
best regards sf

Up to you - it sometimes depends who are you thinking of when working on your tree: for some people it is for future generations, so from any children's point of view both lines are of interest to see in reports, print outs of trees etc. However, if it is for your own interest you may prefer to keep the lines separate - sometimes combining families can be a hindrance if both trees are very large, I think, but equally it can be good to have all the info in the one place.
Also how do I stop her appearing at my shoulder the exact moment I buy credits on SP ?
Don't think I can help with that one!

Best wishes
Lesley

This one's easy for me. I just forget to tell her where her glasses are so she can't see what I'm doing. :D :D

P.S. Usually she is the one saying "We need more credits" so I'm the lucky one

Excellent point about the kids seeing both sides of their family tree and as I don't imagine we will have thousands of names I think just the one file will do.Now all I have to do is try hiding her glasses
