not receiving photos - help, please-Completed with thanks

Post by Rach » Fri Nov 21, 2008 2:00 pm

Hello All,
Hope someone can come up with a solution for this.
A newly found distant relative in Canada has tried to send photos to my hotmail address over the last week and they haven't arrived. He has tried on a daily basis. I asked him to send them to his daughter to see if they would arrive in her inbox and they did. She forwarded them on to me yesterday and they still haven't come! I received photos from someone else during the week so email attachments are coming through.
Any thoughts?
Thanks,
Rae

If they are very large they might not be able to come through. My sis. in Aus had similar problems when she was on dial-up, in the end she'd go to her hotmail web inbox and forward them to me to resize and return.

Can they 'shrink' them down a bit before sending them - my Windows email asking if I wish to send them full size or smaller - so that your computer can swallow them in 1 gulp.

Thanks, Wilma, I will ask him again. As his daughter had received them I think he thought the problem was solved. I know hotmail shrinks mine to send and I have never had a problem. I am on wireless connection so that shouldn't be a problem, should it? Mind you I am hopeless with this sort of thing so perhaps I am speaking rubbish!
