HELP QUICK....PLEASE

What have I done?

Finally bought new computer and all was well until today a box popped up asking if I wanted to use Firefox as my browser. I installed it and now I have no task bars or anything. How do I get rid of this and get back to Internet Explorer browser?

I think I brought up TS by using my history of recent websites so I hope this goes through!

Hi Anne

I too use Firefox and had the same gut-sinking feeling. Have you tried right clicking on the top tool bar (where it should be that is !) My attempt brought up the toolbar option and I still had several options but they were all un-clicked. Left click and see whether they come up.

Thanks. I clicked around and managed to bring back IE then went into My Computer and uninstalled Firefox. I think I'm back to normal.

It hasn't been a good couple of weeks and my heart sank...hopefully all is sorted now.

That was the fall back position I was going to suggest next. Glad it worked. It is a new, improved version of Firefox and it may not like your firewall as it is designed as a security version.
