Hi all,

Just wondering if everones page is too wide when they are viewing Talking Scot, or if the problem is just with me.

Hi again,

Have just realised this only happens when I am not logged in.

Hi Karen,

Are you finding the page just a little too wide? If so, it is probaly due to the new graphics at the top of the page. I may have to narrow the "Home" to "Census" headings, but due to other commitments, that will have to be a couple of weeks away. It is on my "to do" list.

All the best,

Hi Karen

Yes it is too wide and I have logged in but it's just the same.

I thought I must have done something to make it like this but I'm glad it's not my fault!

Same here.......when the Halloween doo was on you had to switch to ? view, now i have gone back to my prefered choice it has happened to me also. But i just solve it by clicking the big square on the corner of the web page which makes this web site fill my screen ?. Appologies for my lack of technical terms :?
Scotland - Donaldson / Moggach / Shaw / Geddes / Sim / Gray / Mackie / Richards / Joel / Coull / Mckimmie / Panton / McGregor
Ireland and Scotland - Casey / McDade / Phillips / McCandle / Dinely / Comaskey + various spellings

I've made a quick fix to the topic headings above. Has that solved the page width issue? This change has been applied only to the forum page (Quijibo theme) so far.

All the best,

That's the "Quijibo" theme forum width pulled in a bit - to 950 pixels (hence the wider blue margin down the right hand side). Has that made the difference? On my PC, the width looked no different between SubSilver and Quijibo, so I appreciate your answers to help me solve this one.

The one thing that can still make an individual page go wider is when a long internet address is printed, or where someone has listed the surnames in their signature list as one long word, separated by puctuation, but no spaces.

All the best,

Andrew Paterson
