Computer shops in Glasgow?

Post by Dennis » Sat Dec 31, 2005 9:35 pm

Season's Greetings everyone :D

I'm wondering what computer stores there are in the Glasgow area. My sister has only a WebTV system that is extremely limited in functions and features.
Any recommendations on where, what & how much would be most welcome.

She can't access TS with her WebTV

Hello Dennis
If you go to www.yell.com you should find all you want to know about who sells what or anywhere else for that matter.

It’s me again
If you click on the above link then enter Glasgow and then computers in the appropriate spaces and you will be given a number of options. Click on computer services and you will see all the traders in the Glasgow area. Computer World is the largest dealers on the high street in the UK. I’m assuming that you are not local.
Personally I think it’s better to buy from one of the on-line dealers like www.uk.insight.com. Here you will find a much bigger range usually at better prices than any of the shops, and they will deliver to your door. I have purchased from this lot and ahve it delivered the next day.
Alternatively you can go to one of the specialist makers like www.Cube247.co.uk where I bought my recent machine. They deliver for no cost but there may be a local equivalent to these people in Glasgow.Someone up there might advise
I hope this is of some use to you.

Hi Malcolm.

Thank you for that. I've passed the info on to my sister.
