Hi all,
I have always used Mozilla Firefox as my browser when using SP and had no problems viewing records.
Today I downloaded a new record, and was unable to view it. I kept getting an error message. I couldn't see any of my previously viewed records either. So I sent off a contact letter to SP.
Just before I did I read the stuff it says about Active X (Internet Expolorer only) versus Java, and so I tried to download the record while using Internet Explorer (which I HATE - it lets in way too much popups and spyware) Well it worked BUT my PC still used Java to open it.
Is Firefox suddenly not compatible with SP? I don't want to use IE. My computer has never been better since using Firefox, so I hope it is just a glitch for today....
Anyone else having problems?
Has something changed?

For what it's worth, my firefox/java combination are working;
I can view SP records with no problems.
Firefox:
- Firefox->Help->AboutMozilla...
-- shows Firefox 1.5.0.1
Java:
- Windoze->Start->ControlPanel->Java...
-- tab "General", click "About..."
---- shows "Version 1.5.0 (build 1.5.0_06-b05)"
If your version numbers are earlier that those I report, you might want to update...

I heard from SP, who said "There seems to have been an intermittent problem on the site at that time
however I have checked your account and the images are opening.
Can you please check from your image section again."
I did, and it seems to be working fine now. Whew!
