My Wonderful New Mouse

Post by emanday » Tue Jun 20, 2006 12:25 pm

Isn't it great how a benefit can come out of a disaster? \:D/ The optical mouse I used with my desktop suddenly decided to die (and I really mean it DIED). Got fed up carrying my laptop mouse back and forward so decided to buy a new one.

Now, I'm not usually known for saying nice things about Microsoft, but they've got an optical mouse with a magic little button on the side that pops up a sensibly sized square magnifier that can be adjusted to make things even bigger.

It's a Notebook Optical Mouse 3000 and it is wonderful for getting a closer look at scanned documents, much better than anything I have ever seen. If I can, I'll try and get a screenshot of how good it is.

Needing a new moose, and with the eyes fading, too much computer, I might add, I thought I would try out this new one.

Well it lives up to Emanday report, but not too impressed with its side scroll facility and the wireless is not that great but overall 8 out of 10 :?

The magnifying facility is great though
