Changes to forum layout - happening soon
Hi all
In a recent meeting the Admin Group decided to make a few changes to the layout of the forum. We hope the finished result will be a forum which is arranged in a more logical fashion & it will be easier to find your way around.
As we’re sure you are aware, the forum is never off, it is online 24/7, so these changes will need to be made when the forum is “live” and being used by some members. It is proposed that these changes take place over the following week, so if things look like they are moving about before your eyes for a brief period….it is probably because they are! No need to rush off to your optician, doctor or cut back on the gin…..yet!
We apologise for any slight confusion it may cause initially, but we are confident the new look will be worth it!
Best wishes
Lesley

Agreed Mary
More likely to make me adjourn to the gin bottle for a bigger fix to see if that would sort out the eyesight.
If it keeps happening I'm more inclined to settle in the horizontal position with a large. LARGE malt. Doesn't fix anything but sure makes you feel good - till you try to get up again that is

Sorry Mary
None on the shelf just now (I wonder why?)
I can offer Glenfiddich 15 year old
Glen Crannog
Glenmorangie 10 tr old
Tormore 12 yr
Bowmore
Glenlivet 12 yr
Edradour 10 yr
Highland Park 12 yr (my favourite sup on a cauld nicht)
The Balvenie 12 yr
Ardbeg 10 yr
Chieftain’s 13 yr
Glen Ord 12 yr old
And for the gin drinkers, I'm sorry but there's no tonic left and the bitter lemon is past its 'sell by' date.
Can anybody remember what this post started with anyway

Frances
I don't deal in left-overs
The bottle gets emptied before its thrown out of course.
Any way there's another week before the wedding and I need to practice elbow bending so I won't succumb.
I only hope the Americans who are coming won't ask for bourbon
This is me stocking up for a leisurely retirement.
As a farewell my colleagues created a spoof Family Tree for me identifying all the different interests I have and showing - back to 1842, where they came from. It was great. I'm very proud of it.
There is only one problem with good malts - deciding which one to try.
Russell - the malteser.

Apart from the "Laddie" my favourites are Glen Grant, Laphroig, Oban and The Balvenie, in no particular order.
If I could get my hands on some, I'd sell my daughter for a bottle of Johnnie Walker Green Label Malt. Beautiful honey aftertaste
