? unable to find site Wednesday 25th/Thursday26th Oct

Hello
Was unable to log onto site Wednesday and Thursday. Was the site down ? - couldn't find out if this was a planned outage or not- had no problem with any other web site.

No, there was no problem here as far as I was aware. Don't know what would be the cause of that??
Anyone else had any problems the last couple of days?

I've had no problems the last couple of days.

I did have a problem a week or two ago which turned out to be my Internet (ISP) provider though.

Sometimes, emmess, if you re-try the site or go through another channel like Google you reach a different server and can get on that way.

Tried Googling, security settings -all kinds of things -even e-mailed admin @pipex (in my address book- now erased) which must have been wrong address as it was returned to me. tried googling for different e-mail address- no good !!- gave up - today no problem- Magic - have now saved e-mail contact as per home page. Trouble with computers - something goes wrong-communication is so difficult.

Hi Emmess, You are not imagining things, Wed and Thurs I couldn't get the site at all. Thought it was a fault my end, but absolutely none of my other sites were affected. Tried linking from other sites too, no luck. This was the first I tried today, and first time!!!

I tried several times throughout the day, yesterday, both from work and home, trying different routes in and could not make it into the forum at all.

Hurrah ,
So I wasn't alone with my problem. I did think it was me and my limited skills,- trouble is that trying to solve puzzles like this I go into 'fiddle' mode and start changing internet security options and make hours of work for myself.
Oh- for the self control to leave things for a while to settle !
