Hi Tracey
As far as I'm aware one of the features of .pdf docs is that you can't edit them (unless you are the creator of one!) I can't see how you could fill in the form on screen if it is a pdf - you'd need to print it out, I think.

Best wishes
Lesley

Hi Lesley

Why do people send them and ask you (me) to fill them in and mail them back ? do they know how much this confuses me :D
I even saved one as Text thinking it might make a difference also pasting it didnt make any difference either. Print and Scan it is then

Hi Tracey
Its not very high-tech, but its the only way I can think of doing it! (Well...OK, I can think of other more complicated ways to work around it, but they are not worth the effort for a bit of form filling!)

They just do it to wind you up Tracey!

Best wishes
Lesley

Tracy.

If the form was "properly" designed in Adobe and saved as a "fill in" form, then you should be able to click in the areas where information is to be entered and type in the information requested.

If you get a message to the effect that the form is not modifiable then you cannot type into the form.

When you have completed the form, you can "file>save as" and after giving it a name save it to your compurter to be attached to an email.

Hope this helps!

Sounds like the one Tracey has been sent has not been set up that way.

Best wishes

Hi Tracey,

See if the form at this link works for you.

http://www.companieshouse.gov.uk/forms/ ... s/288B.pdf

If you can fill details in, in this form, then all is well with your PC and its Adobe Acrobat program.

All the best,

Andrew

Thanks for that, Andrew! Like Tracey, I've always wondered what I'm doing wrong :!:
