What does this mean?

Its just came on my screen:

Hi Cathy,

I can only assume that the software that runs the forum failed on you.

If you see the like again, let us know. Let us know what the last thing you did on the forum (e.g. - was opening a new message). You may never see this type of error message again - they should be few and far between.

Hi Andrew,
I had just read a new post, then hit the "Back" button.
An email with attachment came through at the same time to my inbox.
Maybe this glitched something.
