I posted this yesterday to the "computer" part of the forum but afterwards it occurred to me that maybe there are a few "non geeks" about here who don't look at that section but who might still be able to help!
So...
I'm new to this forum but have been avidly reading your posts especially this section. Like many of you seem to be I am a Legacy user - the all signing and dancing version! My only criticism is that it seems a bit limited in the charting department. If I am not mistaken Legacy doesn't have the ability to provide a full drop line chart of my records. I am therefore thinking about investing in some specialist software.
I have downloaded a trial version of Tree Draw which I see also comes in a Legacy version. I also have an evaluation version of GenoPro 2007 from the most recent issue of Your Family Tree magazine.
I would be loath to move on to another program in substitution for Legacy.
Can any kind soul(s) give me some guidance here.
