Having run Spybot for years, I've had a couple of problems with it recently - it appears to be removing or altering a file which Legacy6 needs to run. Twice recently I've run spybot, and then I can't launch Legacy - just get an error messge. If I then restore the PC to the restore point immediatley before running Spybot then Legacy launches with no problem.
I had come to the conclusion it just had to be to do with the update...and it seems I'm not alone.

andDeleteing these keys as found using Spybot causes the program "Legacy V6.117" to crash when it starts. I suspect that this is a FP!

I'm sure the Spybot lot, who are now aware of the problem will come up with a fix of some sort,I know what's triggering this - the genealogy software program I support, Legacy Family Tree, uses the cia files. We run into this problem all the time with spyware scanners wanting to delete the cia files as well as actbar.ocx, which we also use.
When those files are deleted, our program won't work at all!
...I hope you get it fixed quickly...
...but just thought I'd mention it just incase anyone else, like me, thinks a PC is a complete waste of time if it can't open your Legacy files!!thanks for reporting and posting information on this.
This fps will be removed from the detection rules with the next update.
Best wishes
