You could also try directing them to SP customer services to pick up a few hints

Case resolved!!!
Today I got a message:
I have no idea why you cannot view the record. Please send me the details of the inscription you want to view, and I will forward the details to you.
Please accept my apologies for any inconvenience caused.
I answered back with the reference and in less than an hour had the record. Whew!
So, they do follow through eventually, even if it takes a bit longer than SP.

TROUBLE WITH ANCESTRY IRELAND
Hi Sarah
It looks as if persistence pays but you wouldn't want to go through that on a regular basis.

Re: TROUBLE WITH ANCESTRY IRELAND
You're right about that! My take on it is that they are good people but either don't have the staff or the expertise to keep on top of the technical side of the site. I think we can all identify with the frustration when something technical doesn't work and we have no idea why, although we suspect it is just some small thing that somehow wasn't set in the right waywini wrote:It looks as if persistence pays but you wouldn't want to go through that on a regular basis.
