Hi,

Lots of Smith's all over the place but make sure to check it out thoroughly...it wouldn't be the first time that I've found ancestors stating they were single or spinster's when I knew they were actually widowed! Sometimes, you just can't trust those ancestors of ours  Good luck with your continued search.

Hi again,

Three husbands, and all called John  your Isabella certainly liked the name John...at least she wouldn't get confused by calling him the wrong name  Great finds :)

It's mainly my Hogg family who came from Larbert. The Allan family came from Polmont. Any of your husband's Allan's venture the little way over to Polmont?
