i wish the irish records were as available as the scots,my lot are the proverbial needles in haystacks John Smith now how common is that ,born 1862 in NI parents are John Smith and Isabella Smith,her maiden name was Smith also so I wonder if he was a relation, ah I feel my headache coming on lol

Hi iluvu2,

Poor you...all those Smiths to contend with :( Your Smith's are like my Brown's...I have, I think, four different Brown families and always get confused with which family I'm actually working with. I think you'll have to stand behind a whole lot of other people though with those "Irish headaches" xmas:cry:

My grt granny was Isabella Smith Kennedy b1826 somewhere in N Ireland her parents were Susan Telford and John Smith,she married and her husband was also called John Smith,I would love to find out where she was born in NI :?:
