1851 census Co Down.....

Hi

Can anyone tell me if these census survived and if so can some please do a lookup for me.

I am looking for James Town(s)ley and Agnes Shields there may be a daughter Annabella who was also known as Annie. Whenshe registered her daughters birth in Glasgow she was down as Isabella.

Would be most grasteful ony any help with the family no matter how small.

As far as I am aware the census returns from 1821 to 1851 were lost in the Four Courts Fire at teh PRO in Dublin in 1922. Those from 1861-1891 were pulped during WW1.

Would it be worth your while looking at Griffith's Primary Valuation 1848-1864 to see if anything comes up?

I have a little more info on the family's since I posted the message and have now put in a new post I will have a look at Griffith's Primary Valuation 1848-1864 and see if I can find anything.
