Hi I am searching for the ancestors of Thomas Watters Born Ireland about
!824. He is on the 1851 census for Dalmellington Ayrshire, lodging with the Reid familyalso born Ireland. In 1852 he wed their daughter Marion 20
who was born Dalmellington Ayr meaning the Reids had arrived in Ayr from Ireland more than 20 years before. He died In Coylton Ayrsire but
there were no parents on his death cert. Hope someone can solve the mystery.

Have you been able to make any progress with this one? Take it you've no idea where in Ireland they might have come from?

Maybe someone else has some ideas of places for you to look.
