Kerrigans Killerry Sligo .....
Hi I have tried to find where my 3rd great grandparents lived. I have noticed that in the Griffiths Valuations 1858 for Lavally West Killerry there is a head of Household a Patrick Kerrigan. Then in the 1901 Census for there the head of household is a Bridget Kerrigan Lavally West Killerry Tirerrill Sligo . Could anyone help me in finding if this is my family as, I can get no further with this brickwall.
The next Lorry along I'll have a hudggy

Hi Hudggy, You could try your L.D.S. family history centre for the films for births of any children to Patrick and Bridget McGowan. The film no's for possible parishes are on this site.
http://scripts.ireland.com/ancestor/bro ... ligorc.htm
Click on Ahamlish, Drumcliff, St Johns and Kilemnummery Catholic Parishes (the last one covers Killery) for film no's for each parish.
Or, if you've got the ages of the children who came to Scotland (was it Charles and Patrick?) try the irishgenealogy.ie site for possible matches and send for cert(s) in Sligo.
