ELIZABETH then married, WILLIAM EVANS

I've no connection that I know of to your family, but hope that someone can help you out.
It’s also worth looking at the sources and resources sections on TS for helpful suggestions, and if you’ve got specific questions, don’t hesitate to post them – someone might be able to help you. Most of us, certainly in the west of Scotland have got Irish ancestors somewhere in the line!
It’s well worth updating your post from time to time as new members are joining up regularly and who knows – one of them might recognise your family or the area you are searching in.
Lesley has started a post for helpful websites for Irish research. It’s not very big as yet, but as you find somewhere useful, please add it to her list.
