Dear Bibby

Welcome to TS and sorry you've not had a reply yet to your post. You'll appreciate that most of the folk on this site are looking for Scottish ancestors, but that doesn't mean we won't try to help people searching in other areas.

I'm only just beginning my own searching in Ireland, so can't offer too much help at present. However, if you've not done a lot of searching yourself, you might want to have a look at this site to start you off:-

All the best!

Hi Bibby, persevere with the site below.--

Austen is there , in Griffiths Valuation, in the parish of Kilgeever, townland of Bunnamohaun. it appears that it is a family name as there are 4 of them.

However there are no marriages for Ireland on this site, but the G.V. points you where to start looking for the records.

The site is experiencing problems intermittently with overloading (after a dodgy start earlier today) but I've managed to get in a few times, with both my own subscription, and also a new registration under spouses name.
