Irish Links .....

HI

Can anyone help trying to do Irish links of the side and keep coming up against a brick wall and was wondering if anyone can lead me in the right direction.

Is there a list anywhere of the Irish coming over to Scotland?

The names I have are

Michael McIlroy b c1797 and died 1875 in glasgow. He married a Margaret Fitzimmons in County Fernmangh in 1829. They 7 children born between 1830 and 1846. Four of them were born in Ireland and the other 3 in Glasgow. They must have come over from Ireland between 1837 and 1839.

Michael's parents were Patrick and Agnes (nee Cartney) and Margarets parents were John and Susan (nee Arigan).

Any help as to where to start looking would be great

Not that I know of. I'm sure lots of our members would be delighted if there were such lists!
