How to find James White or Eliza Matchett in Ireland .....

I am completely stuck tracing one Irish strand of the family can anyone advise how I could proceed.

We have a Lily M White b.1880 in Glasgow, but cannot get any further tracing her parents who were both born in Ireland.
Her mother Eliza Matchett b. abt 1851 in Ireland, her parents were Hugh Matchett, a Farmer and Sarah Jane Bright, both were born in Ireland.
All we know about her father is that he was James White b. abt 1852 in Ireland.
There first three children Willian b.1875, John b.1877 and Sarah Ann b. 1879 were born in Ireland
As they first appear on the 1881 Scottish Census and Lily was born in 1880 We assume they moved to Scotland in 1879/80.

Any help would be gladly accepted

Do you have the birth registration for Lily? It should have the date and place of marriage for the couple, if they did indeed marry. I have found many of my Irish ancestors' places of origin in this way.

I have managed to find the birth certificate of Jane one of lily's sisters and it say their parents were married in Banbridge, County Down , Ireland on the 11 July 1873.

I will now try and see how to progress from here
