Edinburgh bookshops

Post by Malcolm » Wed Jan 19, 2005 11:52 am

Does anyone know any good bookshops in Edinburgh please. I want books on Scotland's social history. Waterstones is no good. I read recently that Edinburgh aspires to be the literary capital of all Britain.
Thank you

How about Amazon and abebooks.co.uk ??

But you need to have an idea of what you are looking for in order to maximise efficiently the results from using their "Search" capabilities.

James Thin the booksellers in Edinburgh that were there since Adam was a boy were sold off a year or two back. Their main shop was sold to Blackwells. Their website is www.blackwell.co.uk - they may have what you are looking for.

All the best,
