Hi Marilyn,

I was thinking earlier that I should ask you the same question! Looks like you have 12-15 inches of snow headed your way.

We only got a trace. That low was centered right over us so all the snow wrapped around to the west and south of us. That's ok, the kids in Birmingham were thrilled! Has been cold all day though and the winds are howling.

I told my sister that we might get 3 inches and she said that was just heavy flurries!

Hi Carol,

The storm was predicted to hit RI abt 9:00 and its right on time  its been snowing for about 20 minutes and my car is covered with a blanket of white snow. I'm not looking forward to having to walk to my cleared off car in the morning, after mr. morning uses his snow blower to clear a path. :) Hopefully, I'll have the day off and if not I only live a short distance away from the office.

Regards
Marilyn

We'd be glad to lend out our snow shovel :D Although we'll probably need it again soon! We got about 10 inches dumped the other day-- quite beautiful. And no chance of it turning to ugly slush here! It was ONE degree fahrenheit here this morning (that's MINUS 17 for you celsius folk). Keeps the snow clean  By Thursday, however, it's supposed to get warm enough to snow again

Keep warm! [cheers]

Sarah

12 inches of snow + 38 mph wind gusts = snowdrifts!

Did you find your car this morning, Marilyn? More important--are you wearing something brightly colored so you can be found?

Hi Carol,

13 1/2 inches of heavy wet snow :( On the ski slope we call it "break your leg snow" or "heartattack snow"

Yup I found my car & my red parker and managed to get to the office an 1 1/2 late, when most people didn't show up at all.....

Oh well Spring is only a few weeks away, although abt 10 yrs ago it snowed in May  That's New England weather for ya....

Regards
Marilyn

Hey, you can build great snowmen out of that kind of snow!

I bet Jean up in Maine is digging out too!
