Hi - am hoping someone here can point me in the right direction!
My great-grandmother's sister married and moved to Canada in the early twentieth century. My mother can recall a cousin from Canada called Christopher Miller (or Millar, I am not sure which) who served in the Canadian Air Force during WW2 and came over to visit his Scottish relations.
My great-aunt's maiden name was Margaret Henderson and she was born in 1880 in Glasgow. She and her husband moved first to Vancouver Island where they built a home but apart from that I know nothing about them and would love to get some more definite information on them - maybe even make contact with any descendants.
Any ideas?
Deborah

Here are a few suggestions that might help.
http://search.bcarchives.gov.bc.ca/sn-1 ... ges,Deaths
Is the British Columbia site for BMD info up to 1985. You can order certs from here and they will email the copy to you, so no waiting if you find something.
http://www.islandnet.com/bccfa/homepage.html
Is a cemetery finding tool for BC. It is far from complete but well worth looking at.
Best wishes
