Another really excellant site for tracing French ancestors is at the University Of Montreal.
http://www.genealogie.umontreal.ca/en/
They have both paid & unpaid avenues. Subcription allows copies of B M D records, often showing who was present at the occasion. Years go from 1621 -- 1799. Subcriptions only run out when you have exahusted the # you have paid for.
