Half the time they don't come up in a search, even with soundex. Help! 
I found another passenger list for Charles, arriving in New York on 22nd May 1911. Do you have that one?
It seems he was a Plumber, so that must be the occupation I couldn't read in 1920. He was headed to join a frend named John Jones in Toledo.
