Hello,

I was wondering if anyone with access to the 1920 US Census returns (my Ancestry subscription only covers the UK) might be able to look up an Arthur Huber, born 1890-ish in Indiana, probably living in Terre Haute, Indiana?

Hi Tom,

Many thanks for taking a look. This is the fellow I'm looking for. Interesting that it say's he's divorced as I have him marrying a relative of mine in 1911, divorcing her in 1914 and then marrying a Martha Drake in 1914. So do you think that this means that he's divorced again by 1920? Rather a poor show if he is - twice in ten years! I don't suppose he shows up in 1930 at all?

Don't know what that means about his marital status! Here he is in 1930 - at least there's no sign of a 3rd Mrs Huber

Hi Tom & Jean,

Thank you so much for your help. Although this chap was only related to me via his first marriage, it has been interesting to see that perhaps 'married life' wasn't his thing after all (or vice versa). From the SSDI I notice that he died in the 60's.
