Hello Scott,

It was a very interesting program but it looks like they didn’t come up with anything new (unless it was tacked on the end of the program and I missed it as I had to leave the theatre early).

But not to worry, with a bit of luck there will be other opportunities to build on the story.

Still playing – Episode 6: From witches to bigamists, Claire White and Bruce Durie examine the skeletons in our family closets and ask how our ancestors' crimes were punished in days of old. http://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/b00hh0pc

Next Week, 15 February 2009 – Episode 7: Love and marriage.

All the best,
Alan

Hi Alan,

Yes, a little bit disappointed that they didn't really address my questions, but as you say, something will probably come up in the future. I think I've virtually answered my question about the parentage myself, however like all things, I need to find concrete proof of this!

All in all, a good show, and LOTS of quite intense information about courts etc. later on in the program, I might need a second listen to digest it all.

Best wishes,

Scott

P.S. Sorry the nod to you and the forum ended up on the cutting room floor!

No worries Scott and sorry about the lightning response. This week’s episode looks interesting.

Now playing – Episode 7: Love and marriage is the theme of this Valentine's edition. Claire White and Bruce Durie examine the interplay between affairs of the heart and genealogical research. http://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/b00hlbb9

Next Week, 22 February 2009 – Episode 8: There appears to be an Episode 8, which is the last in the series, but no info shown as to content.

Happy listening,
Alan
