"Scottish Family Tree Detective: Tracing Your Ancestors in Scotland" by Rosemary Bigwood.
...was seen today in a well known bookshop in Princes Street, Edinburgh...seems to be on the shelves before its publication date of 31st December too!

Best wishes
Lesley

I have ordered mine from Amazon. The only way I'll get it.
I didn't fancy my chances of getting it where I live in Australia.
Looking forward to it.

I have added SALTATORIAL to my vocabulary
Now I just have to find a way to use it in everyday conversation

Everyone thinks "ahm aff ma rocker" anyway.

Dano,

Postage cost by airmail is 7pounds,98p
If you check www.amazon.co.uk
they will give you postage options.
'cos I don't have the patience to wait for anything I went the airmail road

But be aware that the speed is not "letter air mail" but some form of consolidated airmail which takes 8 to 10 days,

If I get it in 8 to 10 days it will be a miracle.
I only get a mail delivery twice a week. and even getting something from Melbourne takes at least a week so if I get it in January I will count myself lucky

Good morning All,

I ordered my copy of Scottish Family Tree Detective from Amazon on Christmas Day Cost CDN$ 25.51 Shipping & Handling CDN$ 5.90. Delivery date is April 3 - 4th,

Then I found they have "49 UP" (Which I was having a porblem locating over here) and it will be shipped January 1st.

First time I have purchased items from Amazon. Daughter informs me much cheaper than in local book stores over here.

Happy New Year to ALL
