Sheila
I got mine very promptly, in Australia, from amazon. U.K

AND while you are all complaining about the mail. I get a mail delivery twice a week and if I have to pick up something from the local Post Office I have an eighty km round trip, so be thankful you can just pop up the road.

To be fair the UK Post Office, normally it's possible to collect the parcel/packet/"signed for letter" the same day, but you have to wait for the X hours written on the card. It's OK for me as I'm only 1½ miles from a mail centre with excellent opening hours.

Yes, I have to watch what I'm saying as my uncle is a Postie in Perth (Scotland that is StewL ;) ). I don't have too much with a problem with them but if you are going to have to wait extra days for your post then I'd prefer they were up front about it and didn't give you a card saying you were not in when you were.

Our local depot used to be close at hand but then moved to a different district altogether for whatever reason. Recently the Post Office too has moved further away. Must have been something I said.

I'm 100% sure though I'll get my book tomorrow and my griping will be over for now. :)
