Sorry if this is not the right place to post this, I wasn't sure where it should go.
I have an ancestor, Colin Campbell who was accepted to University in Glasgow just before he was called up to the 2nd world war. Apparently he got some kind of scholarship, but got killed in action 1943 so I don't think he even started his course. Would there be any records of him considering he probably didn't matriculate? Or any way to find out what he was going to study?
Thanks,
Miko

Hello Miko,
The University of Glasgow maintains a Second World War Roll of Honour site. I can’t see Colin Campbell listed there but the “Contact us” link will lead you towards an Archives information page. Note that there may be a fee payable for some services.

Hope they have the info you’re after.
