Hi Sarah,
Funny, but several of my relatives spent time around Bon Accord St. They might even have known who James Giles was!
I think they also may have know Mary Slessor, the missonary in the last list. Mary C. Munro kept a "birthday book" which was given to her by church members before she sailed for the US. One of the enteries is for Miss Mary Slessor. Then again, there could have been dozens of Mary Slessors...
