What I am wondering is how do you know which clan is yours. when down through your family tree there are several, no probably many clans involved. Does it go with the fathers clan for that family? Hope someone can help, many thanks

I am not an expert or anything, but if I were to try to align myself to a clan, I would be doing it through my main paternal line.
