By far the best guide to Glasgow streets, past and present, - including name changes, - is the 2 part "A Guide to Glasgow Addresses" by Susan Miller, published by the Glasgow & West of Scotland FHS.

"Part I : 1700 - 1825: Merchant City",
"Part II: 1826 - 1950 : Industrial City".

Hi David,

I wonder if "A Guide to Glasgow Addresses" by Susan Miller was the more comprehensive publication the author of the Rename Street Index was referring to?
