As far as I know it is best to contact the Mitchell for Glasgow Papers. They appear to hold: The Glasgow Herald, Daily Record and Evening News.
Is it anything in particular you are looking for? ie a death notice or an article?
If it is for wedding announcements then I was told the Glasgow Herald may be the most likely source of information.
This is who i was told to email regarding newspapers: History_and_Glasgow_[@]_cls.glasgow.gov.uk (Take out the _[]_ around the @)
