BRICK WALL

Post by wini » Sun Jan 14, 2007 10:33 am

Can someone come up with another name for "BRICK WALL"

I have quite a few but it would be good to call it something else.

Between us we must have enough BRICKS to build a new WALL OF CHINA

Sorry my imagination is letting me down -after much heid-scratching , I think I've reached a "drystane dyke" with this one.

What about inventing a brand new word? ..... like "Tiffano"

To be used in situations where you have reached an impasse in your
research

Such as...... "Did your ancestor have any other children that may help you to trace them on the census?"....

.............'Tiffano!!!

I think that a SENNA moment might do !

When you reach a point where you have lots of information but a blockage stops you progressing. All you need is something to clear the blockage and allow you speed on further down the line :!: :!: :!:

Hi Russell

I feel that we can have too much information on our computers, and sometimes the old methods are best...

In these cases it's best to just sit down and work it out with a pencil & paper :-k

What? :-s
