Looking for hostel or possible home exchange

Post by PaulCanada » Wed Apr 18, 2007 4:14 pm

Dear friends,

I'm planning on continuing my research with a visit to Angus and Aberdeenshire this summer. However, I've got to make this trip with an eye to keeping accomodation costs at a minimum.

Does anyone know any hostels near Edzell/Fettercairn/Bervie areas?

Similarly, we'd be willing to discuss a home swap with people who want to visit Toronto, Canada. We've got a 3-bedroom townhome near the city centre. Reply here and we'll arrange an e-mail exchange.

Cheers,
Paul, Canada

Researching McIntosh and Paton from Angus and Kincardineshire, and McClung from Kilmarnock.

Hi
The nearest appears to be Aberdeen at about 30-35 mls or 48-56 kms mainly dual carriage way so about 40 minutes, at a guess, by road; depending on how easy it is to get out of the city.

There's a Caravan park at St Cyrus with 'wigwams' for rent as well as traditional caravans.

or try www.cottageguide.co.uk if you feel self catering may fit your budget.
