=D> It's hard when there are multiple names to try to search! You can spend a lot of time beating around the bushes looking for these people. At least, that's what I've done with my family tree!

My worst waste was when I first started researching and thought everyone always spelled names the same way - sigh - and then I managed to pay for the same record on SP multiple times - that hurts!
Do hope you found some descendants from Maggie and Lizzie - the Australian branch didn't do so well in that regard. :(

Tis always good to be posting on a thread where folks are found - regardless as to who does the finding :D

I think most of us have done that!
There are some descendants from Lizzie at least, though irritatingly on the 1911 census she has a 3 month old at home but says she has 2 living children.......!
Maggie's are likely to be more difficult to trace as she married a soldier in 1916 so too late to see on SP, and I don't know what area to look in. However with luck there might be a WW1 record for him. Haven't explored that yet.

Best wishes,

Meg

Can't help you with the children. It looks like all the images for Morningside are missing! Wonder why?

There is a soldiers will for a Thomas Whyte available, but check the date of their marriage first. This Thomas Whyte died in August of 1916. Killed in action in France I think it was.

Marriage date was 4 September so it doesn't look like the right one - thank goodness.
This whole family has had so much tragedy that I don't think I could bear to read that one too. Their mother's story reduced me to tears!
