No need to find Marys Birth i found her Mum & Dads wedding certiicate.
Found out Elizabeth's Maiden Name is CONN never heard of this name before. She had to sign an X on her wedding Cert. Poor thing could not write. I am chuffed added some new names to my search now. $\:D/$

www.ScotlandsPeople.gov.uk

This may well be your Mary Ellen.

Hi Catriona checked it out and its not my Mary Ellen
this was the name in full MARY HELEN PATE .However my sister reminded me that Mary married again a John Divers so i looked up their Marriage.Found confirmation that Elizabeth was E Conn and all the data was correct i have so far. So thanks to you i have found out loads and had fun. I am keeping going now to phone a relative of J Divers as my Mum had half brothers and sisters.Sadly all gone now. To beg steal or borrow any thing they may have about Granny. Liz
