Hi Mugoo,
May i ask where you got details that a David had died in 1859?
The only birth i can see for a suitable David is what appears to be an LDS submission...
--
DAVID IRVINE - Birth: 30 JUL 1858 Cumnock, Ayr, Scotland
Father: DAVID.

Extracted birth or christening record for the locality listed in the record.
The source records are usually arranged chronologically by the birth or christening date.
LDS Church membership record of a deceased person.

--
For some reason i can't yet see an "official" birth in the IGI.
Puzzling!
Jack

Well I of course we are! :D I found Allan in their family aged 8 in 1861 and added 10 years on and looked for an 18 year old (=- a small margin) in 1871. There was only 1. It's an easy name to narrow down a family with.

Best wishes

Hi Jean,If its the same Allan I can tell you he m. Margaret McClymont in Scotland, emigrated to PA.in 1880,his wife and daughter came over in 1881.They settled around Port Perry and had a number of children.Allan died about 1895.Let me know if this fits and perhaps we could share some info. Hi Mugoo

Didn't mean to mislead you there! I was only referring to Allan as a way to find your other family members on the census. I used his name as it is somewhat unusual so not likely to be a ton of results to sift through. Sorry to say I've no connection whatsoever to the family... :(

Best wishes
Jean
