We're about to have a census in Australia, it's only the second one where we've been given the opportunity to have the personal data kept for future generations.
Australians tend to get a bit cynical and paranoid about "Big Brother", which is why we don't have any form of national identification system.
I'm a journalist so I understand both sides of the argument, but I personally believe that if you've got nothing to hide, you've got nothing to worry about.
I'm looking forward to ticking YES to keep our census details!
