Changing topic, Stuart, but I note you are researching Jacks. I have an Elizabeth Hay McMurray who married a John Jack in Renfrew in 1866. They had nine children that I know of, including two sets of twins, all born in Renfrew between 1868-1883. Do you think there is any connection?
Searching for McMurray, Pollock, McLean, Shearer, Jamieson, Plumpton.

There are quite a few of us with glad tears in our eyes.
Thrilled it all worked out so smoothly and positively.
Now you can feel complete!
