Thanks for the info. I work on a MAC which may be part of the problem. My dh is going to take a look at it tonight after his golf league. He is the resident computer geek, he's in the business. So I am sure we will get it figured out. I' let the group know.

Thanks for all the advice on opening the download, I was finally able to send it to my husband's pc and he could open them. The information was great as I know have names for my gggrandparents' parents. Though as luck would have it I can find only one of the four in the OPR. But at least I have the names.
Though the US census of 1900 and 1910 are great with information. I still can't determine who my William Clark(e) parents were for sure. My ggrandfather William died in the US in the 1890's missing the 1900 census. His wife is this is where we knew they came from Scotland, as they didn't ever go back or have realitives come visit or affliate with any of the known Scottish societies.
